Mostly stable snow exists, however "Low hazard does not mean no hazard". Isolated pockets of surface slab up to one foot in depth could be human triggered in very steep extreme terrain.

Avalanche Discussion

High pressure will continue to build into the region overnight. Clear skies, light winds and thermal inversions are expected on Saturday. Fog and lows near 20 below zero are expected in the valleys in the morning. Daytime highs at the upper elevations are expected to rise into the 20's. AVALANCHE HAZARD FOR THE TETON, TOGWOTEE PASS / CONTINENTAL DIVIDE AND GREYS RIVER / SOUTHWEST TRAILS AREAS:The General Avalanche Hazard is expected to be LOW. Mostly stable snow exists. Low hazard does not mean no hazard exists. This general avalanche hazard rating is not applicable for backcountry users venturing into extreme terrain. Backcountry users are advised to consult area specific forecasts issued every morning as new information may become available and unexpected weather can change conditions.
