The avalanche prone locations are rather rare and are clearly recognisable to the trained eye. From the late morning as a consequence of solar radiation there will be only a slight increase in the danger of dry and moist avalanches, especially on very steep sunny slopes at intermediate and high altitudes, as well as on wind-loaded slopes.

The snowpack will be generally well bonded. A clear night will be followed in the early morning by quite favourable conditions mostly. Especially sunny slopes: The surface of the snowpack has frozen to form a strong crust and will soften during the day.
