As a consequence of new snow and wind, avalanche prone wind slabs formed in the last few days in some places. Avalanche prone locations for dry avalanches are to be found in particular on very steep shady slopes above the tree line. Caution is to be exercised adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. The mostly small wind slabs are to be bypassed in particular in terrain where there is a danger of falling.

As a consequence of new snow and a moderate to strong wind from easterly directions, mostly small wind slabs formed. In some cases wind slabs are lying on soft layers.

Moderate avalanche danger will prevail.
