Forecast Weather Influences: It will remain warm with the freezing level above the summits throughout the period. Some light rain is expected overnight. Southerly winds will slowly ease. Observed Weather Influences: It has been a warm and wet day with the freezing level rising above the summits around 3am this morning. Moderate to strong South-Westerly winds over the summits. ObservedSnowStability: There has been a period of wet snow instability overnight and during this morning but as the day progressed stability has gradually improved. Avalanche activity observed on North-East aspects on Ben Nevis this morning. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
