Forecast Snow Stability: Moist windslab will continue to exhibit weaknesses on North-West through North to East aspects above 900 metres, mainly in locations such as coire rims, gully tops and scarp slopes. On South-East and South aspects above 900 metres, isolated windslab accumulations will contain lingering weaknesses at depth in steep and convex locations. Outwith these areas the snowpack will continue to slowly stabilise. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: A mainly dry day is expected with localised snow showers above 1100 metres in the afternoon, although these are likely to be insignificant. The wind will be South-Westerly, very strong overnight, reducing gradually to become moderate in strength by the end of the day. The freezing level will remain above the summits for the duration of the forecast period. Observed Weather Influences: Rain showers at all elevations preceded a mainly dry afternoon. Winds were gale force South-South-Easterly overnight, veering to the South-West and becoming strong during the day. At midday the freezing level was above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: Moist windslab is located on North-West through North to East aspects above 900 metres. These accumulations contain weaknesses in steep wind sheltered locations such as gully tops, coire rims and scarp slopes. Isolated moist windslab is also present on South-East and South aspects, where weaknesses are present at depth. At lower elevations there is gradual snow loss in the slow thaw. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
