The fresh and older wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in isolated cases in particular on west to north to east facing aspects above approximately 2200 m. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. At elevated altitudes the avalanche prone locations are more widespread. Avalanches can in very isolated cases reach medium size, in particular at elevated altitudes. Only isolated gliding avalanches are possible. This applies on steep grassy slopes below approximately 2600 m. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided.

Up to 15 cm of snow will fall. In many cases new snow and wind slabs are lying on a hard crust, in particular on sunny slopes in all altitude zones, as well as on shady slopes below approximately 2600 m. Wind slabs are lying on soft layers at elevated altitudes.
