The snowpack remains subject to considerable local variations. The strong wind has transported a lot of snow. In particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls sometimes deep wind slabs formed. In some places wind slabs are lying on a hard crust. The wind slabs represent the main danger.
