The new snow will settle on a layer resting on unfrozen exposed ground. During the day, the progressive rise in temperatures will lead to rain up to the highest altitudes, with progressive humidification of the snow cover. Due to the weakening of the snowpack, releases and spontaneous releases of medium-sized and, in individual cases, large-sized ground avalanches will be possible.
Snowpack Structure
Progressively humidifying snow cover during the phases of rain mixed with snow. On the southern slopes, snow flow phenomena are possible, with basal slips that will affect the entire surface of the snowpack.
