As a consequence of new snow and wind a considerable avalanche danger will prevail.
The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular at the base of rock walls, and adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. The wind slabs are bonding poorly with the old snowpack. They must be evaluated with care and prudence in all aspects. As a consequence of the precipitation, the likelihood of moist avalanches being released will increase gradually. They can be released and reach very large size.
In all aspects the wind slabs have increased in size. Weak layers exist in the snowpack in particular on shady slopes. The weather conditions will give rise to moistening of the snowpack.
The weather will be mostly sunny over a wide area. The wind will be moderate to strong.
