Generally safe avalanche conditions exist across the state. There are very few slopes where you can still trigger a dangerous avalanche. If you are planning on traveling in very steep, consequential terrain in the high alpine, look for and avoid hard, hollow patches of wind-drifted snow. Start and end your day early to avoid small wet avalanches in the afternoon.
