Salt River and Wyoming Ranges

Below 9,000 feet and on most southerly aspects to 10,000 feet shallow accumulations of new snow lie upon bare ground and avalanches are unlikely. On steep northerly aspects above 9,000 feet recent deposits of new snow lie upon old October snow surfaces. Backcountry users who venture into steep northern exposures above 9,000 feet could triggered isolated of new soft slab up to 12 inches deep.

Mountain locations could see 3 to 6 inches of new snow. Mountain temperatures will rise into the mid 30's. The valleys may see a mix of rain and snow showers. The General Avalanche Hazard is expected to be LOW. Backcountry travelers venturing into very steep wind loaded upper-elevation avalanche starting zones or cliff areas could trigger isolated pockets of slabs up to 12 inches in depth. If triggered these isolated pockets could sweep them into terrain traps, over cliff bands, or into rocky areas with little to no snow.
