Avalanche Summary
A Special Avalanche Advisory is in effect for the Park Range and Flat Tops. 12 to 18 inches of dense snow fell in the last 24 hours. Dangerous avalanche conditions exist. To stay safe today you will need to carefully evaluate the snowpack and choose conservative routes.
It will be easy to trigger avalanches in the storm snow. Some of these avalanches could be large enough to bury you. Avoid steep slopes with more than about 12 inches of new snow especially if the storm snow feels upside down and/or you observe long-running shooting cracks.
