Central Cascades

No specific avalanche problems are expected on Friday. However avalanches can still happen on low danger days. Isolated pockets of unstable snow can be present any day in the mountains. Use your evaluation skills before committing to steep and consequentail terrain. 

Of note, observers have been finding surface hoar on top of the snowpack throughout the region. This is not a problem when it is on the surface, however once it is buried by storm snow it typically becomes a senstive weak layer in the snowpack. We will monitor this as the next round of snow comes in.
