Kernpunkte

LOW avalanche danger exists at all elevations.  Minor loose-wet sloughing could become a potential on steep lower elevation slopes with southerly exposure as they warm.  Firm and variable conditions abound.

Avalanche Discussion

Another solid over-night refreeze will be followed by fully sunny skies today and temperatures a few degrees warmer than yesterday. However, a stronger breeze out of the S to SW today should keep southerly slopes a bit cooler and limit the potential for small loose-wet sloughing resulting from your turns to steep lower-elevation slopes.  If you find yourself on a manky wet steep slope, you could cause some slough that could drag you off your feet and lead to a bad fall in consequential terrain.

Firm and variable conditions abound. Frozen slopes and firm windboards make crampons and a whippet or ice ax important tools to consider for travel in steeper terrain.
