Avalanche Activity

Over a wide area heavy precipitation. The prevalence of the avalanche prone locations will increase in the afternoon.

As the day progresses as the precipitation becomes more intense there will be an increase in the avalanche danger to level 2 (moderate). The new snow must be evaluated with care and prudence. This snow can be released in isolated cases, but mostly only by large additional loads in all aspects. Small and medium-sized avalanches are to be expected.

Snowpack Structure

Over a wide area new snow above the tree line. Over a wide area only a little snow is lying on south facing slopes.
