Avalanche Activity

Wind slabs above approximately 1600 m. Moist snow slides and avalanches below approximately 1600 m.

Adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls and above approximately 1600 m dry slab avalanches are possible, even medium-sized ones. In addition below approximately 1600 m, individual small and medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible.

Snowpack Structure

The sometimes strong wind has transported some snow. Wind slabs have formed adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. The weather conditions will give rise to moistening of the snowpack in particular at low and intermediate altitudes.
