Forecast Snow Stability: Good general stability. The snowpack will continue to deplete in all areas. Any remaining, residual cornices will be weak and prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Low
Forecast Weather Influences: A steady thaw will prevail. A ridge of high pressure is building, bringing further mild and dry weather. The freezing level will remain well above summits throughout. Light to moderate Westerly winds becoming South-South- East, then South as the high-pressure influences. Observed Weather Influences: It has been a mild, cloudy, damp and misty day. The freezing level has been above summit levels throughout. Moderate West -North West winds. ObservedSnowStability: Thaw conditions with further depletion of existing snow in all locations. Some minor wet surface snow instabilities exist; although the remaining accumulations around coire rims and gully tops, whilst now moist or wet, are in the main well bonded and stable. The avalanche hazard is Low
