Forecast Snow Stability: The limited snowpack will remain well bonded and stable at all altitudes. The most widespread patches will be found on North-West through North to Easterly aspects above 950 metres, around coire back walls, ridge flanks and on the plateau. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Snowpack Structure
Forecast Weather Influences: Dry conditions are expected to continue. Gale force South-Westerly winds will gradually ease through the night to become strong then moderate West-South-Westerly during the day. The freezing level will fluctuate at around the highest summits. Observed Weather Influences: A dry day with strong to gale force South-Westerly winds. The freezing level was just below the highest summits. ObservedSnowStability: The limited snowpack is very firm at all altitudes and remains well bonded and stable throughout. The most widespread patches are on North-West through North to Easterly aspects above 950 metres, around coire back walls, ridge flanks and on the plateau. Elsewhere the ground is mainly clear of snow. The avalanche hazard is Low.
