Forecast Weather Influences: Winds will be South-Westerly, gale force overnight and only moderating slightly later in the day. Observed Weather Influences: A dry and frosty start to the day in the glens with cloud above the summits initially. Light Westerly winds. As the day progressed there were heavy and prolonged showers falling as rain at all levels. Freezing level above the summits.
