Overnight temperatures stayed above freezing at the mid and lower elevations and fell into the lower 30's at the upper elevations. The snowpack is expected to quickly soften in the morning hours. Wet loose and wet slab avalanches are possible today on steep snow covered slopes at all elevations. Some of these events could step to the ground.
