The General Avalanche Hazard is HIGH today. New snowfall over several days and strong winds have formed soft slabs to two feet in depth on steep slopes. These slabs lie upon crusts and weak layers of snow and could be easily triggered today on steep avalanche paths by backcountry users or run naturally. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
