The avalanche danger is LOW and avalanche conditions are generally safe. Watch for isolated pockets of lingering wind drifts at the mid and upper elevations and wet loose avalanches on aspects facing east/south/west as well as low and mid-elevation northerly aspects.

No backcountry avalanches were reported from Friday.
Snow and Weather
Under clear skies, the mountain temperatures are currently in the mid to upper 20's or low 30's °F across the range. Winds are generally from the southwest and are blowing 10-15 mph with a few wind sites gusting into the 20's mph. Ogden peak is blowing a bit stronger with speeds 15-20 mph.
Today we will see plenty of sunshine with temperatures climbing into the low to mid 40's °F at 8,000'. Southwest winds will increase slightly as the day wears on, with speeds of 10-20 mph across the upper elevations as another dry cold front crosses Northern Utah later this evening. Starting Tuesday, the weather gets more interesting; stay tuned.
