Forecast Snow Stability: The Spring snowpack will continue to soften and thaw but will remain generally well bonded. Cornice collapse and falling ice will remain a potential hazard. Snow cover will be greatest on higher plateau areas and in North to East facing corries above 900 metres, otherwise very patchy. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Another dry and bright day is expected. The freezing level will remain above the summits. Fresh winds throughout the day from the South-South-West. Observed Weather Influences: A bright day with the freezing level well above the tops. Cool fresh winds from the South-South-West. ObservedSnowStability: The snow is thawing at all levels but is generally well bonded and stable throughout. Cover is starting to break in many locations with greatest amounts now found on high plateau areas and in North to East facing corries above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
