Especially in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain individual small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized ground avalanches are possible. On very steep slopes loose snow avalanches are possible, but they will be mostly small.

The old snowpack remains subject to considerable local variations. The older wind slabs are to be found especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls and generally in the high Alpine regions. They are to be found in particular on northwest, north and northeast facing slopes. The snowpack is stable. Wind and new snow to low altitudes: This snow is bonding quite well with the old snowpack.
