Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will remain well bonded throughout. Very hard snow will be encountered on North to East aspects above 900 metres with limited amounts of softer snow on South-East to South-West aspects. Expected to be very icy underfoot. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: A dry day is expected, potentially cloud free in some locations but where enveloped in cloud it will remain freezing. Winds, light throughout, initially North in the morning, backing to the North-North-West in the afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: A cloudy day with occasional flurries of snow above 700 metres. Winds were moderate from the North. ObservedSnowStability: There is a dusting of snow over most aspects above 700 metres. Old very firm snow is present above 900 metres on North to East aspects with lesser amounts of softer snow on South-East to South-West aspects. The avalanche hazard is Low.
