Only isolated mostly small wet snow slides and avalanches are possible above approximately 1900 m. In gullies and bowls a sometimes precarious avalanche situation will be encountered in some localities.
Snowpack Structure
Below approximately 1900 m no snow is lying. The older wind slabs are to be found especially in gullies and bowls and at high altitudes. The spring-like weather conditions gave rise to gradual and thorough wetting of the old snowpack over a wide area. In some localities light snowfall at high altitude.
