Steep sheltered terrain such as corrie rims, gully tops, scarp slopes, convexities and burn lines will be most affected. Any newly formed cornices will be fragile. The avalanche hazard will be Considerable.

Winds will be gale force, mainly from the East. Observed Weather Influences: The freezing level was around 900 metres overnight, lowering slightly for most of the day. Flurries of light snow and sleet were noted above 800 metres. Winds were very strong, mainly from the East-South-East. ObservedSnowStability: The majority of the snowpack continues to consolidate.
