The surface of the snowpack will cool hardly at all during the overcast night and will already be soft in the early morning. In some localities 5 to 20 cm of snow will fall above approximately 2500 m. The new snow and wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in particular on very steep shady slopes above approximately 2800 m. In very isolated cases the avalanches can be triggered in deep layers of the snowpack and reach medium size.

The new snow of Saturday has settled to a large extent in all aspects. This snow remains in some cases prone to triggering in particular on very steep shady slopes above approximately 2800 m. The snowpack will be quite moist. The old snowpack is unfavourably layered. Yesterday at intermediate altitudes further small and medium-sized avalanches were reported. At low and intermediate altitudes from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying.

The weather conditions will cause a slight rise in the avalanche danger as the day progresses.
