Below approximately 1700 m no snow is lying. At higher altitudes the avalanche danger is low (level 1).
Below approximately 1700 m no snow is lying. At higher altitudes the avalanche danger is low (level 1).
In all regions only a small amount of snow is lying for the time of year. The snowpack will be well bonded over a wide area. In isolated cases sometimes large wind slabs formed. They can be released by large loads in particular. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on northeast to northeast to northwest facing aspects at high altitude and in gullies and bowls. Individual weak layers exist in the old snowpack on north, northeast and northwest facing slopes.
