    Skiers and riders venturing onto steep, north facing slopes above 9,000 feet could trigger hard slab avalanches with crown depths up to three feet. Suspect locations are steep, rocky slopes where faceted snow persists at the base of the snowpack.

Overnight lows in the mountains will be in the mid-20s before rising to near 30 during the day. Southerly to southwesterly ridgetop winds will range from 15 to 25 miles per hour. In the Tetons and Greys River area, where mostly stable snow exists and avalanches are unlikely, the general avalanche hazard is expected to remain LOW. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be MODERATE above 9,000 feet in the Togwotee Pass area. There, backcountry travelers could trigger hard slab avalanches in isolated areas on steep, northerly aspects.
