Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions are generally safe. Approach steep slopes with caution if you find lingering fresh snow from the last storm, or rapidly warming snow surfaces. Even just a small avalanche can become serious if it catches you in consequential terrain. Consider what terrain exists above and below you before committing to travel in steep or extreme terrain.
