There is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface. After a clear night this applies in particular. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found especially on very steep shady slopes in high Alpine regions.

In the Prealps as well as at low altitude no snow is lying. Also in neighbouring regions less snow than usual is lying. In particular adjacent to ridgelines snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. The conditions are spring-like.
