Special announcement: Avalanche awareness night sponsored by Skinny Skis has just started. Watch live by going to jhavalanchefoundation.org Featured speaker Doug Chabot will give his talk at 8pm so there is still time to tune in. The avalanche danger is Low at the mid and upper elevations. Multiple days of mild temps and a lack of precipitation have allowed the snowpack to gain strength. Avalanches are unlikely. Low elevation terrain does not have enough snow to warrant a danger rating. Be aware of objects such as rocks and downed trees just below the snow surface, as they could result in injury.
