The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on northeast to north to northwest facing wind-loaded slopes above approximately 2400 m.

As a consequence of falling temperatures and solar radiation the snowpack will consolidate. The snowpack will become weakly bonded in particular on steep shady slopes.
The fresh snow and the extensive wind slabs can be released in some cases in particular on northeast to northeast to northwest facing aspects above approximately 1900 m.
As a consequence of the snowfall the avalanche prone locations will become more prevalent as the day progresses.
