Observed Weather Influences: Inversion conditions: progressively milder air temperatures near summits but cold surface temperatures in clear conditions. Moderate West-South-West winds. Dry throughout. ObservedSnowStability: Good stability. Cold, soft, thin windslab lies in pockets beneath some very steep North-East through East to South-East aspects above 950 metres, mainly around coire rims and gully tops. The remaining very patchy old snowpack is frozen and stable. The avalanche hazard is Low.
