Kernpunkte

The snowpack is mostly stable and consist of melt forms. Significant precipitation is expected, which will fall as snow at higher elevations. As the wind picks up in the evening, fresh slabs will form that may be easy to trigger. In lower-lying areas, rain will increase the likelihood of triggering wet loose snow avalanches when traveling in very steep terrain.

Avalanche Activity

Snødekket er stort sett smelteomvandlet og stabilt. Det ventes en del nedbør som vil komme som snø høyt til fjells. Når vinden tar seg opp om kvelden vil det dannes ferske flak som kan være lett å løse ut. I lavereliggende områder vil regn gi økende sannsynlighet for å løse ut våte løssnøskred ved ferdsel i svært bratt terreng.

Snowpack Structure

Generelt er snødekke smelteomvandlet og isotermt. Men i nordvendt sider høyt til fjells, over ca 850moh finnes fuktig nysnø.

Tendency

Early in the day, it may be easy to trigger fresh slabs at higher elevations. Later in the day, the sun may cause naturally triggered avalanches, especially in high-altitude areas with dry snow from Tuesday.
