Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will continue to gradually stabilise in the mild temperatures. Isolated wet snow instabilities will persist in steep locations such as gully tops and coire rims, predominately on North through East to South-East aspects above 750 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.
Forecast Weather Influences: After a mainly dry evening patchy rain will move in and will continue throughout the day. Overnight Southerly gales will reduce to strong during the day. The freezing level will be above summits throughout the forecast period. Observed Weather Influences: A mainly dry day with Southerly gales. Cloud level around 700 metres. Freezing level well above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The moist snowpack continues to consolidate in the milder temperatures. Greatest accumulations can be found on North through East to South-Easterly aspects above 750 metres, mainly in corries, gullies and wind sheltered locations. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
