Forecast Weather Influences: The freezing level will rise above the summits overnight when there will be some light rain with sleet on the highest summits. The freezing level will then drop to around 700 metres and it will be a dry day. Moderate South-West winds will veer West-North-West. Observed Weather Influences: It was a dry day with moderate South-Westerly winds. The freezing level was around 850 metres. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is well bonded and stable. Above around 800 metres the surface is firm and frozen. At lower elevations the limited patchy snow is slowly thawing. The avalanche hazard is Low.
