Mostly stable avalanche conditions exist, and large avalanches are unlikely. Maintain standard safety protocols as caution to reduce your risk.

Today, we removed the wind slab avalanche problem on south-facing aspects. These wind slabs, which are now 6 days old, have undergone several days of warm temperatures and sunlight. This weather has facilitated bonding and settling, significantly stabilizing them to the extent that the likelihood of triggering an avalanche is now considered very unlikely. 

However, very unlikely is not the same as impossible. Given the potential size of an avalanche in Oakes Gulf, and potentially other south aspects, continuing to travel as if you could trigger an avalanche will reduce your risk. Travel one at a time, watch out for convex slopes and of course continue to carry an avalanche beacon, probe and shovel. 

Falling ice should be on your radar today due to warm temperatures. Minimize your risk by reducing your time (exposure) under large areas of ice. Remember that falling ice can move fast and be unpredictable.
