The fresh snow as well as the mostly small wind slabs will become increasingly prone to triggering. New snow and wind slabs can to an increasing extent be released, even by a single winter sport participant. This applies in particular in the regions exposed to heavier precipitation. Dry slab avalanches are the main danger. Some mostly small natural avalanches are possible. In very isolated cases avalanches can also be released in near-ground layers reach large size in isolated cases in particular on steep north, east and southeast facing slopes.
