Up to 2000 m and above rain will fall. New snow at intermediate altitudes. As the precipitation becomes more intense dry and moist avalanches are possible as the day progresses, but they can be large in some cases, especially on very steep slopes, and at the base of rock walls and at high altitude, in the regions exposed to heavier precipitation in particular. In the typical avalanche paths here the avalanches can in some cases reach the bare valleys. As a consequence of the rain individual ground avalanches are possible. The fresh snow and the wind slabs that are forming in particular adjacent to ridgelines can be released by a single winter sport participant above approximately 2300 m. At high altitude the avalanche prone locations are more prevalent and the danger is greater. During the day: In the regions exposed to heavier precipitation above approximately 2500 m in some localities danger level 4 (high) will be reached.

70 to 80 cm of snow, but less in some localities, will fall in the next few hours above approximately 2300 m. The southeasterly wind will transport the new snow. The old snowpack is well consolidated and its surface consists of loosely bonded snow lying on a strong melt-freeze crust. The weather conditions gave rise to moistening of the snowpack also at intermediate and high altitudes. In particular at intermediate and high altitudes there is still a very large amount of snow. Below approximately 2000 m hardly any snow is lying.

In some localities increase in danger of dry and moist avalanches as a consequence of new snow and wind.
