A foot of new, easily transported light density snow in the last forty eight hours has been formed into slabs to two feet in depth on lee slopes. It will be easy to trigger slides today as the slabs lie on smooth crusts and faceted snow. Natural sloughs that develop into larger slides are likely on any steep slope at High and Mid elevations. Any sun warming will also initiate slides on southerly aspects. There has been little snowfall at Lower elevations.
