The general avalanche hazard is Moderate. Skiers and riders will be able to trigger new soft slabs and sluffs today in steep wind loaded terrain. These slabs will be shallow this morning and increase in size to depths of over a foot as snow and wind continue to load them. Some potential exists to pull deeper slabs to three in very steep terrain above 9000'.
