Snow cover is up to 18 inches deep at the highest elevations and tapers to depths of less than six inches and areas of bare ground below an elevation of 8,000 feet.

Several inches of new snow accumulation are likely. Temperatures will be in the teens and 20s in the mountains. Winds will veer to the northwest and increase to 20 to 25 with gusts to near 40 miles per hour.The general avalanche hazard is expected to remain LOW but be on the increase. Monitor conditions and avoid steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones if rapid loading occurs.
