The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Skiers or riders who venture into steep, wind-loaded avalanche terrain have the potential to trigger soft slab avalanches up to two feet deep. On steep slopes at upper elevations the possibility exists for riders to trigger deeper hard slabs to three feet deep. Steep terrain that is ideal for high-marking will be dangerous.

Ridge top winds will be southerly at 10 miles per hour.Backcountry travelers will be able to easily start sloughs or soft slabs to 18 inches in depth on steep slopes at upper elevations in the Tetons where the hazard is expected to be Moderate. Triggered slides will rapidly entrain debris and build to dangerous volumes. Similar conditions will prevail in the Greys River and Togwotee Pass areas. The potential also remains for users to trigger slides that pull out older, deeper slabs to three feet in depth on very steep slopes and chutes below ridge crests. At mid and lower elevations people could trigger loose sloughs in very steep areas.
