Salt River and Wyoming Ranges

The avalanche hazard will rise from LOW this morning to CONSIDERABLE this afternoon. As temperatures quickly rise today the crust will soften and the potential for wet loose and wet slab avalanches will increase on steep snow covered slopes. Cornices on the high ridge tops have become unstable due to consistent warming and may fall onto slopes, causing large avalanches to occur.
