Especially on very steep sunny slopes small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized wet slab avalanches are possible. The prevalence of avalanche prone locations and likelihood of triggering will increase in the late morning.

The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. The older wind slabs are to be found especially in gullies and bowls in all aspects and generally at high altitudes. The weather conditions will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack in particular on sunny slopes. The avalanche prone locations for wet avalanches are to be found in particular on very steep slopes and on grassy slopes.
