The avalanche danger remains LOW on the Manti Skyline. The snowpack remains VERY shallow for this time of the season. Hitting rocks, logs, and stumps within the shallow snowpack is the biggest threat right now.
Snow and Weather
General Conditions: A minor disturbance moved through on Wednesday afternoon. It produced some clouds and bumped the wind speeds a bit. Wind has been generally from the west. Temperatures overnight dropped into the mid-teens. Riding conditions are what you would expect after 3 weeks with no snow. Things are variable.
Mountain Weather: Wow. High pressure over the western US will continue to dominate our weather for at least another week.
Expect partly cloudy skies and high temperatures into the mid 20s for the next couple of days. Wind will generally be from the west-northwest in the light to moderate speed category. Temperatures look to get really warm by Sunday, with a number of days into the 30s in the mountains.
