Forecast Snow Stability: Re-distribution of snow will continue overnight. A Period of poorer stability just before dawn on steep North to East aspects above 900m with the onset of heavier snowfall. Fluctuating temperatures expected to bring only marginal consolidation to old and new windslab on North to South-East aspects above 850m by the end of the day. All recently formed cornices will be of suspect stability throughout the period. The avalanche hazard will be Considerable

Forecast Weather Influences: Dry and cold until just after midnight with light to moderate South-West winds. A pulse of less cold weather for several hours starting in the early hours with stronger South-East winds, snowfall, and rain at lower altitudes. Colder later with easing South-West winds and some light snow showers. Observed Weather Influences: Wintry. Cold throughout with persistent overnight and early morning snow showers. Moderate to strong W winds easing later. ObservedSnowStability: New snow instability in recent windslab mainly on very steep North through East to South-EastE aspects above 900m.
