Forecast Snow Stability: Stability within the existing snowpack will remain good. Deposits of fresh windslab will form overnight and early morning on North to East aspects above 900 metres. These areas are expected to be shallow and mostly affect gully tops and coire rims. Small fragile cornices possible above these locations. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Overnight showers will initially be rain at most levels turning gradually to snow above 900 metres by morning as the freezing level lowers to a similar level, then clearing to give a dry day. Very strong South-South-Westerly winds overnight will decrease to moderate and become Westerly during the day. Observed Weather Influences: Early morning showers, of snow above around 700 metres, gave way to give a dry day. The freezing level was around 900 metres in the morning rising slightly in the afternoon. Fresh South-Westerly winds. ObservedSnowStability: The shallow, snowpack continues to gradually consolidate. New snow deposits from overnight snowfall are not significant. Snowpack stability is generally good. Any cornices above North to East aspects are fragile. The avalanche hazard is Low.
